Sounds rational to me. I've also observed many who purport to "care so much", but it's really a veil to dodge accountability or otherwise manipulate or pull various social levers. I steer clear of those that are quick to play social games, including shame, to gain status or get their way.

I'll take rational, well-reasoned, and balanced empathy over manic, performative forms of "care" any day of the week. i.e.: It's nowhere near a simple binary, those that care and those that don't. Deceitful opportunists infect all demographics.

I've used them for a few years now using my domain. It's no nonsense and well structured. Eventually, I'll just self-host, but this is a good option if you don't have a reliable means to host or just want to get your feet wet before fully self-hosting. The $20/yr plan has been perfectly adequate for my needs.

The tragedy of it all is that I suspect we'd agree on far more if we bridged the information divide.
