Reading Anne Leckie's latest book, Translation State. If you're a fan of scifi, and especially space operas, I'd recommend her books, but start off with Ancillary Justice.

i didn't tell anyone when i got my benefits from the VA. i just collect my disability grant from them every month and keep my mouth shut about it. honestly, the military fucked us up, the least they can do is pay us out for the various types of fucked up we are.
it's pretty easy to apply to the va, just an online form, some supporting documentation, an appointment with their doctor (mine was over the phone), and about a 9 month wait is all it took for me.
I play sudoku and chess puzzles.
I used to use one that measures your sleep cycle somehow, and wakes you up when you're in you're most wakeful state within a certain amount of time before your actual alarm is set. So if you set your alarm at 6, but the app sees that you're starting to be in a less restful state at 5:45, it'll make you up at 5:45
It's not a free app, unfortunately.
