Just switch man. I'm using signal for 2-3 years but only recently completely deleted whatsapp. Some close folks are already there or have now created accounts. Some prefer to send SMS. I'm not the center of the universe so I can live with losing out on some groups (which ones do you even really need?) and lose chats with more distant folks.

Check out Qobuz rather. Its catalog is extensive, less clutter than on spotify and higher streaming quality. And its french.

What could possibly go wrong(er than with covid) with the host country slashing science and health organisations while their chief health moron suggests to just drink milk?...

Give me a break. There is no world where a democratic government should be equated to the fascist shit show that's on display for the entire world.

I guess you're so far down the 1933 way that you'll hear a lot of people say "we had no idea a. what was going on / b. things were so bad" in a couple of years...

The people in the US had the chance to vote for a MUCH lesser evil. And they chose to vote for fascism. People get the politics they deserve and with trump at least the leader is as rotten as the country at its core. I'm sure this poor lady does not deserve it. May maga folks experience some of the worst years of their lives for condoning racism, sexism, fascism.

We use the word eggs in German the way yankies use nuts or balls. That said, yes, you can swallow our eggs, dear US government.

I was looking for reddit alternatives before and didn't pull through. Now that I did (first hour), I dont see why anyone wouldn't "migrate".

Ah, and I'm using "eternity". Reminds me of the old days before reddit turned facebook.
