Hard to tell without testing. The asbestos could easily be in the drywall rather than the insulation. But who knows.

Some "attics" (crawl spaces) are really, really, really badly constructed and inaccessible. That would be my guess. And it probably just being inundated with the odor all over, requiring a search through all the nooks and crannies—probably half-filled with insulation—while crawling on joists (so as not to fall through the ceiling like he ultimately did) and squeezing through little claustrophobic openings to find the corpse. I could easily imagine this taking a good number of exhausting hours to do in some of the crawl spaces I've seen and been in.

If anyone's going to be subjected to such a miserable experience, I'm glad it was him. Hope as he fell through that ceiling he got a good face full of maggoty, decaying possum or whatever.

We should've learned how the government operates from the AIDS genocide almost half a century ago, TBH. But people are quite ready to forget/ignore/bury their heads.

On March 24, during a G7 foreign ministers’ virtual teleconference, the US secretary of state pressured his counterparts to adopt the term “Wuhan virus” when referring to SARS-CoV-2. This request was rejected by other member states, and the conference ended without a joint statement.

Even as politicians go, U.S. officials are such embarrassing, narcissistic little fucks. My god. Imagine derailing a conference about an enormously devastating global pandemic in order to do a little name calling, and ensure that absolutely nothing—not even issuing a statement—gets done. If some grassroots activists did this kind of thing for an actual reason then great. But this is just so pathetic coming from one of the participants (and not even just any of the participants, but the representative of Empire), for absolutely petty, trifling bullshit.

I mean, just about right after it happened there was a video posted by the "Botsman Boys" about how they were shooting anyone on the streets who didn't show proper nationalist fervor. Both of these videos have, of course, been since removed by YouTube. But I'll post the links and the bookmark titles I had for them from pre-removal, just in case someone can find some kind of archive.

Well shit. That's why we haven't heard from Medhurst in a while. They nabbed him (a second time) in Austria, and have stolen all his equipment and data and kept legal cases open against him in both countries to silence his journalism.

The Democrats know this too. They just underestimate how much Trump hates them and won't listen to them simply because of their colors. LOL. So they suck up and lick the boot (underneath the farce of rhetoric), while he ignores them (at best).

This whole thing is a gigantic display of that observation about how conservatism boils down to having an in-group protected but not bound by the law, and an out-group bound but not protected by the law. Laws are for poor people, and Trump is not an exception.

This is just fundamentally what laws are in the first place, TBH. It's not just conservatism, but liberalism in general. If you have a state, you have this kind of authoritarianism and repression. It's just a matter of how extreme and obvious it's gotten (so-far). Even MLs want to dissolve the state eventually. The major divide between the branches of lefism is just whether or not you can do some good shit before this kind of nonsense catches up with you.

Hell, capitalism has a problem when profits simply fail to grow at expected rates. Never mind actually falling!
