It'll be there until at least the end of the month if anybody is nearby and wants to go see a shark in clear water.

There are many medical care destinations; I can speak to Thai medical care for their quality/expertise first, cost a close second, comfort a very close third. speed and care availability a fourth.

By traveling, you can instantly access higher-quality health care more conveniently at more than 90% lower cost than the US fee for the same procedure.

Hip replacement? Go to Thailand, save $40,000.

Heart bypass? Go to Thailand, save $58,000.

IVF? Save $10,000-15,000 per procedure.

These bar graphs provide Thai-US comparisons of healthcare infrastructure, technology, expertise, and other metrics. This is a direct comparison of local surveys showing preference for Thai health care over US health care.

There are publicly available fee charts, hundreds of studies and analyses, and any number of firsthand medical experiences abroad to corroborate the facts. This article summarizes a few of the established benefits of Thai health care over the US for their respective citizens; 99.5% medical coverage of Thai citizens; $1-fee doctor visits; a longer Thai life expectancy than the US despite having 90% lower income per capita and a much lower GDP; far lower costs for nearly all procedures.

Buy a plane ticket and you can take advantage of high-quality, affordable medical care, including dental and vision.

These are a few cost comparison tabes of the average US cost for common medical procedures compared to those of the top Thai private hospitals, still 90% cheaper than US equivalents.

These cost savings can be found with all medications I’m aware of: common depression/blood pressure/anxiety medications, insulin, hormonal supplements, chemotherapies and so on. Every medication I’ve been asked about is available in Thailand at a much better price.

The Thai government invested in health care. They bought new equipment, trained doctors in world-class universities the last 30 years, and now there is a generation of Thai doctors rated among the best in the world in a country with cutting-edge medical expertise and equipment that anyone can access for pennies on the US dollar.

Those reduced fees that people like me pay for root canals and crowns are more than enough for Thailand to continue purchasing cutting-edge medical equipment and funding the training and expertise of their world-class medical professionals.

Comment here or message me about any medical tourism questions or concerns, and if you have medical needs you can’t afford, seriously consider traveling to a country with a better-developed health care system.

this is pretty fascinating. I saw Abbey Road nightlife, switched cameras and then came across a spider on the lens from across the channel and it looked like a big ol Kaiju wrecking the city lights in the distance.

I notice these in every new country. The difference in animation or style of pedestrian signals was one of the first mundane differences I really clocked when I began traveling, like "oh, they're not all the same."

"He is a brother to me and he is at peace with me; and I am a brother to him and I am forever at peace with him," referring to the two leaders. "The country of Egypt and the country of Hatti [Hittite Empire] will be forever in a state of peace and of fraternity as it is with us."

~1300 years old, part of the treaty between the Hittites and Egypt.

hey there! living abroad is a very attainable goal and comfortable lifestyle.

tldr is get a passport, get any remote job for 10-15 hours a week, move to one of the $500 countries, rest, recuperate, live.

Take it from there without financial pressure weighing you down; build up passive income, get access to better healthcare, great food, world wonders and innumerable other benefits.

If you are an English speaker, you have immediate access to thousands of teaching jobs that pay anywhere from $2000-10000 USD per month.
