I'm curious to know why people use systemd-less distributions. Which one would you recommend to someone who wants to stop using systemd?

I'm also currently experimenting with Void Linux, expecting OpenRC to be similar in some ways.

Doesn't Void Linux use runit?

Is there an OpenRC package for Void? I thought that it only has runit and dinit in the official repo.

I pulled it from Github. Full disclosure, the experiment isn't going well, but I'm determined to see how far I can take it.
