Is there a reason for all of the apps I've installed from F-Droid to update at the same time? (lemmy.ca)

Opened up F-Droid to check for updates and all of the apps I've installed have one. It's the first time I've seen this happen. Is there a reason for it, maybe has to do with googles money grubbing hands?

My guess: The apps aren't updated all at the same time, but the F-Droid client only checks for updates every so often, so you'll see them all at the same time unless you increase the check frequency.
