Is there a reason for all of the apps I've installed from F-Droid to update at the same time? (lemmy.ca)

Opened up F-Droid to check for updates and all of the apps I've installed have one. It's the first time I've seen this happen. Is there a reason for it, maybe has to do with googles money grubbing hands?

F-Droid can check for updates in the background, on a schedule. It's not the app running the whole.

Dunno if there's some confusion about that here.
