I fail to see how this is relevant to the topic at hand. Maybe if you included your reasoning why you came to this conclusion from a Tomb Raider announcement that'd be nice.

No companies are good companies, as they all exist in a capitalist system trying to extract the most money out of the least value.

It's an association. Tomb raider is a great game. However, for me Nintendo's reputation is so damaged nowadays that even great games will not convince me to buy a Nintendo console to play them.

I agree, but for me it's a scale. I remember when Google's motto was "don't be evil". A few years ago I moved everything I used there to a different company. A company nonetheless, but a less evil one.

Ah, you're just a troll. I was unsure at your first comment, so I gave you a proper answer. Let me spell it out for you in case you're not a troll, but just really thick, "bruh":

Lemmy is a place on the where grown ups have discussions on all kinds of topics, based on posted articles. Sometimes these discussions are not directly, but only tangently related to the main topic of the article. This confuses you, like when you see a picture of two boys kissing.

It's like when your meemaw says it's 69 degrees and you laugh, because you saw on Snapchat "69" means something funny on the internet.

I totally understand this is confusing, maybe even triggering for you. On the other hand, you really shouldn't be on the internet before your Ritalin kicks in anyway. Maybe stick to Instagram and Fortnite and steer clear of the difficult parts of the internet where people have conversations.

So, yes "bruh", nobody forces me to buy a switch 2. Well done concluding that all by yourself. However, you're just repeating my point and stating the obvious. Now give the iPad back to your mom.

Why would I? Don't think everyone is as homophobic as you are.

I was just pointing out that you don't need that console to play that game. It's not even an exclusive. So you actually have a choice.

Nobody wants you to buy this console and frankly, nobody cares that you don't want to, because you didn't even provide good arguments worth reading. I still don't even understand why you don't want to buy a console, as you didn't tell us.

Sometimes these discussions are not directly, but only tangently related to the main topic of the article.

    It's spelt "tangentially".

And sometimes, these discussions don't even have proper arguments, or a point, or any content. Bravo, you're a very doubleplusgooder person than me to be able demonstrate that.

Don't think everyone is as homophobic as you are.

You really don't understand words and sentences do you? This is a jab at you, not gay people. Read it again, maybe you will get it after a few tries.

    as you didn't tell us.

Well, you seem to be the only one in the dark here in the gaming topic. I'm referring to the fact that Nintendo is actively searching out and suing anyone that tries to emulate one of their consoles. Even the ones that they don't sell anymore.

    It's spelt "tangentially".

    Good argument.

Bravo, you're a very doubleplusgooder person than me to be able demonstrate that.

Good! Now please keep it in mind before you start bitching here about every comment that's not 100% on topic.

Ah, one of the many reasons to dislike Nintendo. Thank you for specifying, as I'm not omniscient.
