In a way gen AI is kind of a blessing in disguise in a silver lining kind of way. I use the internet less and have all but cut out social media. The second I see someone trying to pass AI slop off as their own art I leave.

    Yep. I pretty much use antisocial media exclusively these days. Smaller, more human oriented and operated, with no "algorithms" to drive perpetual engagement. It's like the internet of almost 30 years ago in all the best ways.
