Ah, yes. The pool of voters who are both:

A) So big, as be able to swing elections

and

B) So small, as to not be worth catering to

A politicians job is to appeal to voters, they lose if they fail to do this.
Either my vote is important enough that you can cry about me costing you the election, in which case you should be mad at the democratic party for fumbling the easiest win; or my vote does not matter - in which case what are you mad about?

But if it was my refusal that cost the democrats the last election like you all say, then that's exactly what I am.
