Pretty obvious zionist intelligence operation. Absolutely trash opsec practices in that army but as importantly their soldiers and officers were hungry, starving, hardly had any money. The situation wasn't likely sustainable and this shows just the power of the west still. That even if you resist them and hold out for a while unless you've gone to extremes like Cuba or the DPRK to be self-sufficient they'll crush you with sanctions over time even if it takes a decade, they'll patiently grind you down and then exploit the desperation they find to buy agents within your midst.
