People who like war thunder tend to be military folks. Some of those military folks have access to sensitive materials. Some of those people make bad choices about sharing sensitive materials

My guess is that people are nerdy and passionate.

There's going to be a lot of overlap of people who have access to the info and want to play that same tank/jet/boat/whatever in war thunder.

And when the game isn't right or someone is telling you you're wrong the allure of playing the forbidden knowledge card gets too enticing to resist lol
