Bees I get, but Ants I don't understand that one. I've long thought of them as a decent analogy for settlers, considering they seem to spread endlessly with no regard for what is already there and they take something akin to slaves: https://blog.entomologist.net/do-ants-hold-other-insects-as-slaves.html
Didn't know about that but from what I've read it's just a specific species, not all Ants.
