I see a lot of you hexbear folks inciting violence and taking back our nation from fascists... Oh wait.

[–] Rom@hexbear.net 32 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

What's the matter, are we not voting hard enough for you?

[–] SkingradGuard@hexbear.net 28 points 1 week ago

What the fuck are you talking about? If we say what we say here on other social media sites, we'd be banned or if you live in AmeriKKKa/UK, be visited by the feds

[–] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 27 points 1 week ago (1 children)

taking back our nation from fascists.

Quick question, when did the fascists gain control?

[–] FlakesBongler@hexbear.net 27 points 1 week ago

big-cool yup, every Hexbearino has the capability to completely overthrow society and reform the economic systems of the world

We just don't do it because the internet is too engaging

[–] Lemmygradwontallowme@hexbear.net 26 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Well, compared to such option, you can lie down and die, when the police cars decide to run over you for your peaceful protests, and have the right wing media commenters mock you for not moving. That'd be the most moral thing you can do.

Dying like a innocent lamb, what a Jesus-like figure.

Edit: btw, post this in Democratic Republic of Lemmygrad or any other anti-tankie comm, IF you want

[–] vegeta1@hexbear.net 25 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Your dems laid out the red carpet for fascist. Hell they helped give em tools.

[–] the_q@lemmy.zip -3 points 1 week ago (4 children)

And what did the Republicans do?

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 23 points 1 week ago (1 children)

.. walked down the carpet that was liad out for them? This isn't the own you think it is

[–] the_q@lemmy.zip 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Not every question is meant to be an "own". But you're a child so what can I do?

[–] BeamBrain@hexbear.net 5 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

Here we see a liberal being as condescending to us as they are to their colonial subjects

[–] Blakey@hexbear.net 23 points 1 week ago (1 children)

"uh I didn't vote for the fascists, I voted for the party that tolerates the fascists, failed to put up any kind of real opposition to the fascists, and lost an election to the most obviously incapable candidate of all time . . . And who then handed power over peacefully to the fascists while spewing platitudes about how important it is to work peacefully with the fascists. And who also have 95% of the same goals as the fascists just with a progressive coat of paint. And that is totally different and makes me the adult in the room" you would have been totally on board with appeasement.

[–] the_q@lemmy.zip 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

And what should I have done? Of the options I had, what was the right choice?

[–] john_brown@hexbear.net 15 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Continued the genocide the Democrats helped start and sustain

[–] the_q@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Well you guys can storm the capital whenever you feel like it and make the sweeping changes that are needed! It's that easy.

[–] john_brown@hexbear.net 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

You don't care about Palestinian lives whatsoever, do you?

[–] the_q@lemmy.zip 0 points 1 week ago (2 children)

I do. I care about the damage I and my country inflicts on the world. I'm not sure why you would think otherwise when all I said was this community of edgy teens wanting violence isn't effective.

[–] john_brown@hexbear.net 5 points 1 week ago

was that a no, you don't care about Palestinian lives?

[–] BeamBrain@hexbear.net 4 points 1 week ago

edgy teens

"Anyone who disagrees with me is just a child" lmao fuck off

[–] ShimmeringKoi@hexbear.net 14 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Hey dawg I don't care how you slice your genocide support, only that you eat it

[–] the_q@lemmy.zip -2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I don't support genocide, at least not actively, but I'm not delusional enough to think the Republicans are the lesser of 2 evils.

[–] robot_dog_with_gun@hexbear.net 19 points 1 week ago

i saw someone saying minnesota dems should do reprisal killings, is that good enough?

[–] MizuTama@hexbear.net 16 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I mean if you've been here long enough you've probably had to tell someone to delete something for fedposting but there is also a difference between wanting people to incite violence versus thinking decrying violent action universally is dumb, especially in the context of how it is used in cases such as Trump's piercing: where violence directed at the state is treated as political violence but violence that the state itself regularly commits is treated as non-existent and non-political.

Make me? See that's my point; you guys are all talk and no action.
