Brother, I'm 6'2", 270lbs, have a massive beard; I'm a maintenance man; I've built power plants, cut timber, and regularly work on vehicles. I'm not a coward, and I eat beef. I'm a pretty manly man, but I'm right there with ya.
Always felt more comfortable around women than men. I cannot stand the way "men" act and treat one another, and I wouldn't want to be one if it wasn't for the fact that I don't want to change my body.
I'm beginning to learn that everything we've always been told should fit inside one box or the other is actually more like a pile of stuff that we get dumped on us when we're growing up. We don't fit into boxes and we were never meant to. Life and everything in it is a spectrum.
We're all a little queer and autistic- but some of us are more ready to accept it than others.

It's clear that you missed the point of my naming all the shit that I do and have done, for they are all societal norms.

You conflate societal roles with identity, have misread the ethical challenge, and overreact to a criticism of norms you both claim to embody and reject. We can use other words like weak-willed or fragile if you prefer.
Ok, I'm gonna say this one more time in a different way and if you still don't get it, then I'm done:
I listed characteristics and events from my life that are typically associated with being masculine in this society in order to point out that, though I meet many of the criteria, I do not always feel masculine; that masculinity (and by extension, all labels) is a social construct which we do not need to feel bad for not fitting neatly into. You have missed the point of my original comment because you became fixated on the fact that I actively partake in eating meat, and now you're attacking my character due to your own misunderstanding (which is beginning to seem intentional).
Your argument is invalid (to this discussion). If you'd like to argue about whether or not it is ethical to consume meat, I suggest you do so elsewhere.
I will say, however, that I have major qualms about the meat industry. This just isn't the place for that discussion.
