The image on the left is purely about living a life conforming to conservative social stereotypes based on gender. They believe in them so much they change for them. It's like an innocent version of still thinking other skin colours are inferior, and enjoying the idea of playing the characters you saw in 1940s Looney Tunes cartoons.

You can be a sub without being weak and dependent, that's just a slightly different stereotype
so they're a sub except slightly different and wants to be taken care of
You can be taken care of without choosing to be less able and less independent, there is nothing positive about having less autonomy and nothing about being a sub that requires it
correct, fetishes aren't often rational, there is no logical reason for this person to want to be a helpless little goblin other than it turns them on
There are plenty of things that turn people on that are objectively harmful and/or counterproductive and should be discouraged, in the grand scheme of things this isn't one of the worst but that doesn't make it good, some urges absolutely should be suppressed or at least redirected

Being helpless and dependent isn't a good thing, doesn't matter how vanilla you feel it is
good thing its sexual roleplaying and not a lifestyle decision

The image on the left is the grandma from Nick Swardson’s 2000-something Comedy Central Presents routine where he comes in and saves the day by carrying her gallon of milk and I think maybe one or two people reading my comment might remember this but this might be too specific of a reference aaaaa
