Because the instance changed from Lemmy to Piefed.

The question that remains is why did they go to my profile to even look at the post amount and account age?

There's been a couple of accounts that instantly find any news that might be slightly critical of a western country as Russian propaganda or bots, I'm tired of these clowns and I strongly suspect Godric is among them.

Same. I did scroll history and the account has activity beyond 2 months though. Also I definitely recognize the name.
