Tap for spoilerI was getting nowhere so went for the obvious trap. Yellow is very US based. Never heard tree as closing in on someone/something. And I wouldn’t call dramatic as exaggerated performance. It’s a style.

As for yellow, one word was new for me, others were pretty clear without thinking about US.

treeTree isn't necessarily US-based, it's just hunting-based. Treeing an animal is just chasing it up a tree, often with dogs. I'd say that's usually a more British thing than US tbh
