President Donald Trump is lashing out at his own supporters as he tries to clamp down on criticism over his administration’s handling of much-hyped records in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking investigation, which Trump now calls a “Hoax.”

“Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this “bull——,” hook, line, and sinker,” Trump wrote Wednesday on his Truth Social site, using an expletive in his post. “They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.”

“Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” he went on.

It's nothing new to anyone not in the cult, but this could be the biggest chance of getting through to them. We need to get them to see the truth and use this tiny crack in their mental fortress to open it up: "well if he blatantly lied about this (based on all of this proof they've seen) what else has he been lying about?"

I know that's probably naive and overly hopeful, but I'm still doing my part.

I've been hoping for his people to see the light since 2015.

They stuck with him when he admitted that Trump University was a scam...

They stuck with him when Mexico didn't pay for the Wall...

They stuck with him when a million people died of Covid...

I hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

MAGAts tend to suffer from sunk cost fallacy, among a myriad of other nonsense delusions.

I hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

I think this is the best way. I lean a bit more towards hope because he not only did the Epstein thing, but he's taking away people's medicaid and social security. He also is going after people they know aren't criminals or gang bangers, they're not some vague other.

You're basically asking cultists to turn against their cult leader.

I can't recall too many times in history where that's ever happened. Sadly.

This isn't a logic or reason thing with them, this is an identity thing.

If they do that, they will lose their sense of identity, and that's something people who have few other things going for them are unlikely to do.

We should make up some group that can absorb all the crazies from MAGA and give them a healthier outlet, like the equivalent of a methadone clinic.

Maybe we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone and make this new outlet where they can place their identity push for economic reforms and equality, positioning the ultra elite as an evil cabal that rules the world. It just so happens that in this new conspiracy group that the conspiracy is mostly true.
