I use VPNs, can I still make a throwaway on Reddit? (lemmy.ml)

I haven't posted to that site in years so I'm out of the loop with how their anti-spam/shadowbanning works. There's a community I want to post in which basically only exists there and Discord.

(Worst case, I can visit a shop and use their WiFi, this isn't Top Secret or anything, but would be nice if I didn't have to.)

You can. I did it. I even used temporary emails since I fucking hate Reddit. I deleted all my reddit accounts. Going forward I am thinking of using my 'real' email only in very few select applications and pretty much throwaway emails on everything else.
