Capitalism is not human nature. It is a system of exploitation that has to go

Selfishness is not a historical necessity of human nature, but rather one component of human nature as it exists in the current historical moment, shaped by current sociological, religious, political, and economic structures.

Attributing selfishness as an inherent part of human nature and letting that underpin your misanthropy is wrong on two accounts:

    • You've taken a postion of idealism, a philosophy which has viciously been made obsolete for over 100 years.
    • You've expressed a problem, humanity and its selfishness, but have no solution to your problem besides an idea: hatred against humanity. A problem without a solution is useless. You've let your hatred make you impotent.

I suggest you do some reading to better understand the idea of human nature.

A favorite of mine is Elementary Principles of Philosophy.

You've suggested that selfishness is a universal aspect of human nature.

I suggested that selfishness is not a universal aspect of human nature, but instead a result of the intra-actions between human beings and political systems as they currently exist.

Explain how it is I, and not you, who is the ideologue in this situation.

Step 0: Choose to click on a thread in a .ml community when you clearly hate us. The socialism community no less when you clearly don't intend on learning about socialism.

Step 1: Make a claim with no justification because "obviously it should be obvious to anyone."

Step 2: Someone disagrees, provides a detailed justification complete with sources.

Step 3: Resort to ad hominem name calling. Complain about the instance that you chose to click and comment on.

    Step 4: ???

Step 5: Reassure yourself that your ideology is the correct one and everyone else is wrong.

And we're the dickhead ideologues, sure.
