Actually, that’s Lieutenant Columbo of the LAPD.
No, it's the boy's grandfather from The Princess Bride.
You got me to look him up, which also made me look up the guy I'm thinking of. Two completely different people, but I still stand by the fact that in that picture he looks, to me, like Robert Fuller.
Edit: after looking at more images, he looks less like Robert Fuller to me.
Do yourself a favor and watch a couple Columbo episodes. You’ll think you recognize pretty much everyone in them.
