As a starting point, the burning of fossil fuels, and to a lesser extent deforestation and release of methane are responsible for the warming in recent decades: Graph of temperature as observed with significant warming, and simulated without added greenhouse gases and other anthropogentic changes, which shows no significant warming

The president's campaign against the industry threatened future projects, even before three US judges blocked enforcement of a government construction ban.

Oil and coal execs will give Trump as much money as he wants in return for gutting the clean energy industry, but wind farms he would do for free. That guy has such a childish vendetta against them.
