Kudos to Christopher Hitchens, who voluntarily tried it and immediately said it wouldn't work for interrogations (changing his position) because he would have said literally anything to make it stop.

Ahh, the era in human history where people actually changed opinions upon being offered conflicting facts to their viewpoints. Truly the pinnacle of human ingenuity. Until we let it be destroyed by social media.
