Unfortunately you have to sacrifice on sound quality, because it's YouTube. However the song selection can not be beat by any other platform. permalink fedilink source parent [–] dudesss@lemmy.ca 1 point 6 months ago Qobuz > Navidrome > Tidal Although Navidrome, if going legally, I've only found Bandcamp Fridays practical for buying music so far: https://isitbandcampfriday.com/ permalink fedilink source parent [–] x_ray_rabbit@lemmy.world 4 points 7 months ago (1 child) I wish it was for me (truly I do), but I listen to most of my music in the car. It didn't buffer the next set of songs nearly as well as Spotify, so when I went through low signal areas the music just stopped playing. And the Android Auto app wasn't as good. The sound quality was minimally better, but not good enough to overcome the other issues. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] sturmblast@lemmy.world 1 point 6 months ago Thats why I keep an old iPod too :) permalink fedilink source parent
