I love you, Bernie, but unless 100% of their profit pay for universal healthcare…

While you’re asking for things that will never happen, shoot for the moon

Making a big fuss asking for things that will never happen and proposing bills only when he's absolutely sure they will not get enough votes is his whole act.

    How old are you?

I ask because you’re either old enough to know better, or too young to know why what he does is important.

If it’s the latter, I’ll explain it to you. If it’s the former, I’ll explain it to you and hope that you still think that bettering society is worth making a “big fuss” rather than letting a bunch of fascist frauds run over you with the dump truck full of the cash they stole from you, your parents, and the rest of us while they burn the rest of the world and our entire future to the ground.

If you think that the words of Bernie Sanders are empty, I will be very happy to explain to you how they are not

I wasn’t asking how old you were to insult you nor to imply that you’re a child. Sanders’s message hit a particular generation at a particular time. One’s age has an importance in this discussion, so don’t take that question as an insult. It was not intended that way.

I am genuinely trying to determine how old you are and your level of political engagement. Believe it or not, that’s pretty important in how I am going to speak to you regarding your priorities, how you see the world, etc.

But I’m also trying to engage you in good faith. If you just don’t wanna hear it, I’m not gonna waste either of our time.

Edit: how about we start with some of the specific things that Sanders spoke of with which you feel especially disillusioned

    OK.

But I’m also trying to engage you in good faith. If you just don’t wanna hear it, I’m not gonna waste either of our time.

Same goes for me, as my experience with people who defend him usually devolve into insults when they run out of arguments.

I am definitely old enough and had an interest in geopolitics since the 80's.
    I'm European BTW.
Since the US imperialist cancer has consequences everywhere I obviously need to know a lot about their local politics and system.
With the advantage of not being in one of their 2 cults, being able to have unbiased info and not suffering from the extreme propaganda and awful media the US has.
As clearly most of the population can't think outside their box.
I am very curious why you, as you claim to be knowledgeable and interested in these matters still can't see through Sanders.
    So let's have it.

Ok… lemme start by saying that, despite my perhaps poorly stated previous comments, i’m not here to defend Bernie Sanders, specifically, but rather the things he spoke to. The philosophies and the policies he stood up to defend.

Secondly, as the hours have worn on, and my medication has worn on, I have been enduring, serious, oral surgery,, and any serious conversation, henceforth…

Well, I’m sorry, but I need to go to sleep. I want to continue this, but I’ve taken pain medication, and I’m about to come very loopy. I’ll hit you back in about six or eight hours.

I really want to continue this conversation, especially with someone who is not an American. This isn’t about Bernie Sanders, specifically, but about the sort of things he was thinking about. I hope that clears a few things up right away, and I’d like to clear more of it up moving forward. I’ll get back to you, but I really need to pass the hell out. My mouth is killing me.

The ad hominem attack of accusing me of “not feeling well” is an admission that you have no counter argument to my assertion.

I engaged you in good faith, and I’m sorry that a personal attack is all you had in response.

If you wanna have an adult conversation, let me know.

(my argument is perfectly reasonable, I only asked for a delay in the conversation. You implied that it meant, I was being unreasonable, and any reasonable person could discern the difference.)
