My first thought was death trap for children but if this client is commissioning artisanal pieces based on his favorite anime characters then I’m guessing there are no children in the picture.
Are we back to "Being a geek makes you a virgin" jokes? I thought we left those on reddit...
Not necessarily that. Could just be "a parent of toddlers would never order a table like that, and wouldn't have the spare cash either."
If it weren't part of a trend of jokes I see on here and the specific reference to anime then I might agree.
Agree or not, he’s correct. You may be a teenager trading virgin jokes with your friends but I’m a dad in his 50s and not into that shit even one tiny bit.
Not even a little. I’m not talking about sex here at all. This is about what it’s like to be a parent.
No, it’s more like “if you have the time and money for things like this, then chances are you are not giving almost all your time and money to children, as parenthood tends to require.
