What Big Tech is doing to JavaScript, to Python, to the tooling substrate of human communication is the attempted privatization of the noosphere itself. Not metaphorically. Literally. If all code runs on Microsoft infrastructure, all communication routes through Google, all AI runs on Anthropic/OpenAI/Microsoft models — the noosphere has a landlord.
