Everyone requires a certain amount of mental gymnastics to consume any living plant or creature to continue to exist in a meat body.

You can pick and choose food but you don't get to pick and choose who has consciousness.

Denying that is shittier.

    If you are asserting that plants have consciousness, then this supports eating a plant-based diet due to how trophic levels work.

    I'm glad that we are on the same page with this.

    Never said we weren't.

    as far as efficiency and better for environment we have been on the same page since the beginning.

    The only problem I spoke up against here is the conscious guilt trip should be considered a non starter.
