...Is that a leak? You don't exactly need to be an OpSec professional to see what a stupid fucking idea that is.
I mean, yeah, obviously a plane made by a foreign country is not going to have all the security and defensive capabilities of one made in the US, because we're not about to give all that trade secret/top secret information to a foreign country to put that stuff on the plane.
Omg the leak was you!!! Turn over your phone.
-smashes phone with hammer-
What phone?
You're looking kinda immigrant to me. Here, come with us so you're not seen again for the next 6 months, if ever.
6 months? Who you know that got out of the concentration camps?
What poster?
There's also the fact that we know the full providence of this plane, it wasn't built for Trump, it was built for some other rich asshole and then ended up sort of being a drain on Qatar, so they White Elephanted it.
Yeah it’s weird they are acting like that’s a scandal now when all that has happened is what every rational person assumed would happen taking a country’s most important aircraft from a foreign nation - months ago.
It's just more flooding the zone, I kind of suspect that on his Thursday press release he's gonna start talking about aliens
Sasquatch is real and ICE will not rest until they've deported him to Guatemala
He was in Portland, had his hair up in a bun and wore timberlands. Every time I spotted him he blew a whistle and had a bunch of crackheads beat the shit out of me and steal my left shoe. What the hell was he gonna do with my left shoe, no way his big feet were gonna fit him.
This is a reference to a comic.
Not Darryl!
I mean, based on publicly available criteria and descriptions... it probably is.
Its one thing for you or I to say "That plane probably has a deficiency in its countermeasures" because we have no inside information and no way to really have any. And no reputable news outlet would run that story.
But for somebody who works in the government who WOULD be privvy to that information to say it? It holds a lot more weight and provides a vulnerability that could lead to the death of the president (which, for the purposes of all the fbi agents reading this: would be bad).
Its obviously a temper tantrum by said potus because he can't show off the expensive gift his new beau gave him. And there are some very serious questions about how anyone signed off on him flying in it at all (for MANY reasons...). But... this kinda IS a pretty serious leak.
Its similar to how you or I can talk about how John Hinckley Jr was told to bust a cap in reagan's ass by his robot dog and it isn't an issue. But if George HW Bush started talking about how his dinner guest's brother was being manipulated by a robot dog?
Ah, but you forget that an ignorant opinion is just as important as an expert analysis.
/S hopefully superfluous
No. It's absolutely a matter of public concern. More people than just the president fly on that plane, and it is plainly obvious that his tantrum put those people at risk, and it took going to the media to get the issue taken seriously. If adults were in charge this would never have been an issue. This is what corruption gets you. Stop defending it.
... Someone providing additional context is not "defending" something. And maybe think how that mindset relates to the folk who scream "fake news" and "college is liberal brain washing".
