An unofficial chapter of the popular Dull Men's Club.
1. Relevant commentary on your own dull life. Posts should be about your own dull, lived experience. This is our most important rule. Direct questions, random thoughts, comment baiting, advice seeking, many uses of "discuss" rarely comply with this rule.

4. This is not a search engine
Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”.
There are a number of content specific communities with subject matter experts who can help you.

5. Keep it dull. If it puts us to sleep, it’s on the right track. Examples of likely not dull: jokes, gross stuff (including toes), politics, religion, royalty, illness or injury, killing things for fun, or promotional content. Feel free to post these elsewhere.
6. No hate speech, sexism, or bullying No sexism, hate speech, degrading or excessively foul language, or other harmful language. No othering or dehumanizing of anyone or negativity towards any gender identity.
7. Proofread before posting. Use good grammar and punctuation. Avoid useless phrases. Some examples: - starting a post with "So" - starting a post with pointless phrases, like "I hope this is allowed" or “this is my first post” Only share good quality, cropped images. Do not share screenshots of images; share the original image.

I'm trying to figure out what one I can donate to scout camp. I didn't miss anything else from home, and even wished there wasn't AC in the adult meeting room. But the bidet was dearly missed a few times. Anyone know of an affordable bidet that will stand up to teenage boys?
Garden Hose should do the job.
Probably the external, steel sprayer type. It’s not as glamorous but I feel like anything built into a toilet seat is going to get abused beyond its design, and probably piss all over the hard-to-clean areas.
I see those fairly often at daycares and kid facilities.
These are boys, they will use it for water fights if possible.
Brondel sells one that's a seat, so you remove the old seat and attach this. Comes with a splitter for your incoming tank water line. So obviously it's not technical, but it works great. I use it at home. I have tile walls in my bathroom and didn't feel like running power and busting tiles out, and it is more than serviceable, and inexpensive. We have great water pressure in my house and the thing feels like it could strip paint off a starfish.
There are a lot of models like that, but all the ones I've seen I wouldn't trust in a camp with 300 teenage boys who have free-time.
Maybe we've solved the issue right here. I'm not sure I'd trust boys with bidets period. The ceiling will be wet, undoubtedly. They will spray each other with it.
