If the digital download comes with a key can't you just save it on an external HD when you download it?

    If the downloaded copy requires phoning home to authenticate and play, storing it on a backup drive won't help in the long run.

    Console players will always be fucked by this sort of thing until they modify their hardware or move to PC. Sony's just making the circumstances more blatantly obvious.
