Err... Argentina is not the birth place of "dulce de leche", we've been doing "doce de leite" in Brazil for ages, before Argentina claimed it as a national dish. However, it's very probable that it was brought to the Americas from elsewhere, like Indonesia.

However, let's not forget that Argentina gave us the best Trotskyist theoretical current, Posadism. Comrades, we need communism to reach the stars and build our interplanetary civilization, so that we can meet our other communist comrades that thrive in distant galaxies. We also need to promote interplanetarism in our program to help spread communism in planets that are still being driven back by other lesser modes of production.

Edit: Yerba matte is good, but it resembles regular green tea. We used to cultivate it and consume it as alternative to herbs brought from India, as not all of them adapted to our climate. BTW, the Gaucho culture spans from Argentinian Pampas, to Southern Brazil and Uruguay. The Gauchos also have the best barbecue, better than Porteño barbecue.
