What a racket. I have a large box of technical books. C, C++, Java, Linux admin, UNIX, etc. My local bookstore no longer takes them. What do I do with them? Book burning party? :-/ permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 3 child comments replies: [–] myrmidex@belgae.social 3 points 2 months ago I had to buy this giant Economics textbook, only for the teacher to create video lessons per chapter about which parts from it can be scrapped. Over three quarters ended up scrapped. A racket indeed. permalink fedilink source parent [–] justdaveisfine@piefed.social 2 points 2 months ago (1 child) Mine are helping hold up a shelf somewhere. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 point 2 months ago loadbearing book. permalink fedilink source parent
