I know you shouldn’t compare yourself to others, but hearing about people younger than you who are ahead in some areas hurts deeply

They don't even have to be younger than me, just the fact they accomplished great stuff back when they were younger than I am now used to be enough to severely depress me. I guess I got numb to it

They were also in a place where they could achieve those things, with the support of those around them. There are no 1-person revolutions, comrade, we do it together!

And for those people those 18 year old billionaires and 20 year old noble prize winners are severely depressing those young people back then.
