For things that are "hmmm".
Rule 1: All post titles except for meta posts should be just plain "hmmm" and nothing else, no emotes, no capitalisation, no extending it to "hmmmm" etc.

The surprising part is how the birds weren't frightened away by the disruption. Maybe the imprint of a nest there was strong enough.
They rapidly bash their skulls into trees for hours a day. I'm not sure they can hear well. Do woodpeckers sing?
Their tongue wraps around their brain to cushion it.
The local woodpeckers (flickers) bang against metal panelings as a mating call. Makes a pretty good racket.
