Swap Democrat and Republican and that's been my experience. No criticism may be brought up about Democrats without "yeah well Republicans are evil so you must hate (insert minority here)" without even asking who I voted for in any election. It's instant worst assumption when all I want is a politician who isn't bought and paid for.

It's so weird because it makes me defend the Democrats and I hate the Democrats.
