I've started a different tactic. "AI isn't going anywhere. You can hate it all you like but you have no power to get rid of it. Even if the majority of people hated AI (they don't) the rich people who hold all the power love AI and would never let you take it away from them. Your dislike of AI is irrelevant because you are impotent."
