A linear scale and even the 2d "compass" is only useful for the most basic introduction to political parties but sometimes ya gotta meet people where they are at 🤷‍♀️

Going off the fish hook theory I've only really seen it used by those using it as stethoscope theory but with those on the center somehow on the left
