He vetoed because he doesn’t feel that executive power should be limited in discretionary powers. He has otherwise been 100% supportive of trans rights. If this alone makes you not support him against Trump et al you deserve Trump et al.

    A whole state's worth of representatives and activists worked to create these bills, fought to get them introduced and past both chambers and he just unilaterally denies them?

    Ok bud. Maybe it was for academic legal disputes. Maybe not. Either way that is NOT who we need right now in Washington.

    Edit: he cited "insurance premiums" for SB418 and AB554 lmao

    But you're right, you shouldn't be against him for this alone. There are a bevy of valid reasons to not support him and you should definitely look into them.
