Moon channel did a couple videos on the topic, TLDR: It's a mixture of south korean capitalism making everyone supremely miserable, internalized sexism downstream from that fact, the existance of rather large progressive feminist movement making the higher ups of the samsung republic unconfortable, strict social heirarchies stemming from the reaction to japanese imperialism demanding that higher social groups suppress lower ones to maintain social cohesion, among other minor factors like gacha games and internet forums being cesspools

    to my knowledge the channel name is unrelated to the moonies, iirc it's a touhou reference? Also, he said on another that he attends a hyper niche new york church but didn't give much more detail, it maybe but rather unlikely.

    As for the DPRK, I should have mentioned that asterisk, sorry 'bout that. It's still a decent video imo, but it's a liberal one for sure, I haven't seen other marxist channels or pro-DPRK areas on the topic of the incel war of aggression within the Samsung Republic so his videos became my default for the topic.
