If you missed the last episode you'll probably want to start there.

Or if you're really confused, you could go back to the very beginning of the changeling's story arc.

Or even the very start of the series if you want to binge read and maybe laugh a bit.

I struggled a lot with Kayra's reaction face in the last panel - trying to communicate shock without stretching into anger or fear. Here are a couple of the options I tried out (plus a silly one).

Believe it or not, Love and Hex is a comedy, not a drama. It started out as a joke about my D&D campaign and turned into an ongoing rom-com/existential horror story. It's on Webtoon and other platforms. Also c!LoveAndHex@lemmy.ca. And you can find a version with a full transcript on my website.

(And Patreon if you want to skip the wait for the next part.)

There's also a book! You'll find it on Amazon (just use your country's site).

Quick question from a non native English speaker: shouldn't the the text "I didn't even know what I am until a few weeks ago" be "I didn't even knew what I was until a few weeks ago"? I sound really weird to me as it is. I may be missing something but it feels like the event is in the past with "until a few weeks ago". Again, not a native speaker so I'm only trying to understand the language better. Thanks!

"I didn't even know" is correct, OR "I knew" would be correct grammatically as well (thought it would be a different meaning). "I didn't even knew" would not be correct. When forming a construct with auxiliary verbs like this, only the first verb should become past tense. In this case, that's "do" becoming "did".
