Sadly the building photographer role is just an intern or the planner themselves with a phone these days. Very few jobs hire actual photographers anymore.

The closest I've found is a gig work thing that will pay like $20 for you to photograph billboards for an hour. Once or twice they offered like $80 to photograph a warehouse for a prospective client. Tried it a few times around the COVID era. Those years really sucked for me.
Other than that, there's still some real estate work out there, but only for very expensive properties.
I mostly do weddings and events and such.
