I do say gooey though. Because it’s easy to pronounce and has an existing English equivalent homophone.

UEFI does not.

I also say Wizzy Wig.

And usually I say sequel instead of SQL. Though I think I switch back and forth with that one, probably based on context, but I can’t explain when or why now that I’m trying to think about it.

    The prevent pronunciation of SQL as "sequel" is probably a result of it being frequently paired with an actual word, like MySQL or PostgreSQL. Or the fact that saying "M-S-S-Q-L" is a pronunciation obstacle course.
