Back when Lego was simple and the only limit was your imagination. (Of which we had a lot back in 1980.)

    Having no screens helped a bunch! Every stick was a sword or a gun, building forts, digging holes (one of my favorite past times as a kid), playing army, BMX bikes. I am so glad I grew up in the 80's

    And the music! And the movies! And computers were new and fascinating and awe-inspiring and full of unfathomable possibilities. Great times.

    Oh I remember the day MTV was launched, whole neighborhood was in my living room. We had the biggest TV on the block so it was the place for boxing/sports/etc.

    and your right the movies, what happened to low budget movies being shown on Saturday manatee's??? Now if it doesn't cost 300 million you can forget seeing a real movie theater.
