Admittedly a risky crosspost, but cannot find conflicting community rules. I believe the possible discussion justifies it.

Or 'What is PeerTube lacking that you simply cannot do without?'

I believe it's a safe assumption that fediverse users want to move away from the monopolies and closed gardens so often associated with video streaming, and yet it's not a task that's ever been made easy. Maybe an ounce of inspiration is the cue we need, and so my question to you is; What's Stopping you from using PeerTube?

I remember when youtube first came out. Thinking it was some kind of online TV, I searched for "The Simpsons" and got no results besides a low-quality upload of The Bartman music video. I decided there wasn't really anything there for me and I left, not returning until several years later when there was content there that I wanted to watch and couldn't find on TV. Now I primarily watch youtube, and again I find myself not wanting to switch to peertube until there's enough content there that I want to watch but can't find on youtube.
