Genuinely what does "holding accountable" mean to a politician if not withholding your vote?

Voting them out in the primaries for a candidate who actually aligns with your interests.

My votes align with my politics in all elections. The democrats seem to accept that their police state, genocidal project, and oil barons are more important than my vote, why can't you?

You are mistaken, I don't care about your vote. You vote however you want, that's the beauty of this country, you know, freedom and all that.
But you asked what "holding accountable" means to a politican, I answered.

My only thing is people on the left trying to blame me and the politicians I supported for the rise of fascism when they themselves couldn't hold their nose and actually vote against fascism. No one forces you to participate in the political process, but you also had a role in allowing the current shitshow to happen. You could've helped stop it and you didn't

    Primary them.

Withholding your vote in the general election is a great way to elect Republicans. How's that been going? Oh I know! I'll ask Alex Pretti and Renee Good if they think it's working.

Should we got tit for tat on victims of political violence and what presidency they died under, or does only count as a police state if it effects good proper whites?

Because I remember considering ICEs agency gestapo with concentration camps during Trump 1 and all the democrats did was give them more money.
