  • There is now a "Mark read on visit" setting for the inbox
  • Messages now use the same swipe actions as other inbox items
  • Posts now show as read after opening (or scrolling past with mark read on scroll active) while on a guest account
  • On instances with upvotes/downvotes disabled, the buttons now appear greyed out rather than disappearing.
  • Images are now automatically deleted from the server if you close the post editor without posting on PieFed (this behavior was already implemented for Lemmy)

Great app! Thanks for your work.

I’ve noticed that creating communities is limited to web. I use Mlem now and Jerboa a while back, but neither had ability to create a community. Is that something not possible in an app or is it just not something users want?

We don't currently support community creation, but it's possible to add it. We tend to prioritise changes that many people will benefit from, and we just haven't got around to it.
