Would be interested to hear @themightycat@ani.social chime in with any reflections and/or plans to work with Nura to get a device maintainer team going! I can see reasons not to—contributing upstream directly without having to work in a team is probably more efficient—but there might be reasons to consider it as well.

Whether it works for all contributors or not this seems like a really neat development and I'm happy to see what becomes of it. Especially for the Fairphone 5. :)
